Document digitisation · Morocco
Document digitisation: from the document you receive to approved information.
Invoices, delivery notes, letters and file documents still arrive on paper, as PDFs or as attachments, and then someone keys them in again. We build flows that receive these documents, sort them, extract the useful information and submit it for approval before it goes into your systems. Paper doesn't disappear overnight, though: each type of document joins the digital flow once it can be read reliably.
Where digitisation saves time.
- Mail and email
Sorting what comes in
Each scanned letter or incoming email is recognised, filed in the right case and passed to the department concerned, which can then find it with a simple search.
- Accounting
Processing supplier invoices
Invoices received as PDFs or on paper are read, matched to the purchase order and submitted to the accountant before they are recorded.
- Case handling
Bringing a file's documents together
The documents in a file are recognised as they arrive, and the team sees straight away which ones are still missing.
- Archives
Finding a document again
Approved documents are archived with the extracted information, so a search by customer, date or amount finds them.
A digital flow, one document type at a time.
Step 01
Inventory
We list the documents in the flow, their formats and the people who handle them today.
Step 02
Test the reading
A sample of your real documents measures what can be read reliably, type by type.
Step 03
Build the flow
Receiving, sorting, extraction, approval and loading into your systems become a single flow.
Step 04
Go live
Each document type joins the flow once its reading reaches the agreed threshold, and the others are handled as they are today.
Measured reading, then human approval.
The system only reads the document types tested on your own examples, and a handwritten document is kept as an attachment without being interpreted. Everything extracted then goes through human approval before it enters your systems, because automated reading can get a damaged or badly framed document wrong. When your documents must not leave your premises, the reading model runs on your own server.
A useful step before e-invoicing.
The e-invoicing announced in Morocco will rely on a structured exchange with the tax platform, whose implementing text has not been published yet. Some of your suppliers will therefore keep sending PDFs or paper, so a flow that can read those invoices and match them to your purchase orders stays useful, whatever the calendar turns out to be.
Flows we have built.

- Automotive and insurance
- Local AI
A vehicle glazing network prepares insurance-covered claim files for its customers, and each file brings together several documents. So we built a system that recognises those documents, extracts their fields and compares the same information from one document to another, such as the registration number, before submitting the file for human approval. Handwritten documents are kept without being read. The vision model runs on the client's server, and no document leaves it.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is document digitisation?
Digitisation means replacing a paper document, and the process that handles it, with a usable digital version. A scan isn't enough, because the image of an invoice stays an image until someone has taken the supplier, the date or the amount out of it. Useful digitisation goes all the way to the data, which can then be checked, matched and found again.
Which documents can be digitised?
Most printed, legible documents can, such as invoices, delivery notes, letters, contracts or the documents in a customer file. We measure the reading of each type on your own examples before adding it to the flow, while handwritten documents are kept as attachments.
Is digitisation enough for e-invoicing?
It prepares you for it without replacing it, because e-invoicing will rely on a structured exchange with the tax platform, whose implementing text has not been published in Morocco to date. Until then, reading the invoices you receive as PDFs or on paper stays useful, and it relies on the same reference data, starting with your suppliers' ICE.
Do our documents have to leave the company?
They stay inside your company if you wish, because the reading model can run on a server installed on your premises. That option requires a suitable machine, which we specify with your IT team. A hosted model avoids that purchase, but the documents then go to its provider, whose terms we check.
How much does a digitisation project cost?
The investment depends on the types of documents to process, their quality, the volume, the human approval step and the software the information has to reach. Regular, legible documents take less work than very varied ones. So we set the amount after a test on a sample of your documents.
Let's discuss your priorities
Let's digitise a first flow.
Pick a flow that keeps your teams busy, such as supplier invoices or incoming mail, and show us a few examples of its documents. We'll measure what can be read reliably before proposing a scope.
