Data & BI
Dashboards that show where your numbers come from.
Your numbers are spread across the till, the ERP and spreadsheets, and each department has its own. We bring the sources together, define each indicator with you and build dashboards around the decisions you make.
We start from the decisions you make.
A dashboard serves a specific decision, such as restocking a store or chasing a customer. So we start from the decisions you make every week, then look for the data that informs them, instead of displaying everything that's available.
What makes a number reliable.
Sources
We map where each number comes from, whether the till, the ERP, the online store or a spreadsheet, and which one is the reference.
Definitions
Each indicator gets a written definition, so revenue means the same thing in every department.
Data quality
We find duplicates, gaps and discrepancies between sources before building the display.
Access rights
Each person sees the numbers for their own scope, whether their store, their region or the whole network.
Refresh rate
We set the useful rhythm with you, daily or weekly, depending on the decision.

An example: the NYS finance report.
For NYS, the finance report compares sales across the network's stores, by day or by week.
The source and definition of each indicator are documented, so management knows how every amount is calculated.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How much does a custom business dashboard cost?
The investment depends on the number of sources to connect, the quality of your data, the number of indicators and the views per role. Scattered or incomplete data takes more preparation than the display itself. So we set the amount after mapping the sources with you.
How long until the dashboard is up and running?
It mostly depends on the state of your data. When sources are accessible and consistent, the display comes together quickly; when they contradict each other, defining and cleaning the data takes most of the time. We give you a schedule after that mapping.
Can you connect our ERP and our spreadsheets?
We start from the exports or APIs your tools provide, and check what your version allows before committing. Spreadsheets can be imported on a regular schedule, as long as their structure stays stable.
Do we need technical staff to use the dashboard?
No, the dashboards are designed for the people who make the decisions. Each view answers a specific question, and each indicator's definition can be shown next to the number.
Why not just use an off-the-shelf tool like Power BI?
An off-the-shelf tool can work if your data is already clean and centralised. The main work is then defining the indicators and preparing the data, which we can do whichever display tool you choose.
