Budget and document reconciliation tool for a film production logistics company
Cineride Log handles transport logistics for film shoots in Morocco: vehicles, drivers, fuel and dressing rooms. We delivered their website in 2024; this second project addresses their budget department instead. Tracking a production relies on workbooks and documents that arrive continuously, and the gap between the approved budget and the real situation only appears after re-entry.
A production budget moves every day, while the documents that justify it arrive out of order and sometimes late. Reconciling the two by hand costs time and lets discrepancies through, especially as the same person may appear under several spellings depending on the document. The tool therefore had to propose corrections without ever applying them alone, since responsibility for the figures stays with the budget department.

How we removed the friction.
We designed the tool in three layers, then delivered the back-office that carries them. The first covers budget construction and the vehicle, driver and supplier reference data. The second handles document intake and assisted drafting, because that is where the time goes. The third runs routines that continuously compare received documents against project state, and propose dated, sourced adjustments that the budget department approves or dismisses.
