Online store, bespoke product configurator and order portal for a launching brand
NUURK is the online brand of a Malaga-based group that had until then sold B2B. Moving to direct-to-consumer meant much more than a store: an order carries measurements specific to each buyer, which no standard theme handles. The project covers the storefront, the configurator that captures those measurements, and the portal where the order is paid and tracked.
A made-to-measure product breaks the usual checkout, because price depends on the options chosen and the order must carry measurement data through to production. Payment was a second difficulty, since the target market still largely pays by transfer with proof, which no off-the-shelf solution handles natively. Finally, storefront, portal and admin all had to speak three languages without drifting apart.
Where the friction lived before we started.
How we removed the friction.
We built the storefront on Shopify, then developed the configurator entirely bespoke, because no standard theme carries measurements through to the order line, with its pricing engine and measurement capture carried through to the order line. Checkout and the customer account live in a separate application, which makes it possible to handle deposits, upload of transfer proof, and follow-up. A six-screen admin covers order processing, and an automatic reader extracts measurements from a photo of the document the buyer provides.
